At Out of the Blue, Capsis Elite Resort we continuously design and offer innovative and modern wellness treatments and nutrition programs for our guests. So, this summer we offer you the opportunity to revolutionize your nutrition habits, increase your energy and optimize your health by following our Raw Food program. If you are already aware and following a raw food path, you may enjoy your vacation at our resort without interruption as we have created a raw food menu especially for you. Maybe, this summer’s vacation in Crete is the perfect opportunity to learn about the benefits of raw food and how to introduce raw food into your lifestyle. Our experienced nutritionists under the guidance of Elaine Vaughan have designed delicious, healthy and nourishing raw food recipes to delight you. Most of the ingredients used in our raw food menus, are organic and grown in our greenhouses.

What is a raw food plan?

The basis of a raw food lifestyle is to consume raw fruit and vegetables, preferably organic, locally grown and seasonal in their most natural state. It avoids “cooking” anything above 42 degrees and does not include any “processed” food, meat or dairy. The main philosophy of a raw food lifestyle is that through cooking and heating process, food loses some of its nutrients and the important digestive enzymes are killed. Raw food diet is followed by many Hollywood celebrities (from Madonna to Gwyneth Paltrow).

What kind of food includes a raw food plan?

Fruits, vegetables, nuts, seeds, and sprouted seeds and grains are all included in the Raw Food Plan.

As of September 2016, we will introduce our brand new Raw Food Program. Specially designed by our professional nutritionists under the guidance of Elaine Vaughan, this is your opportunity to try a raw food plan for a week and enjoy the benefits of increased energy, better sleep, clearer skin and weight loss, plus learn tips and strategies for including more raw food in your daily lifestyle.
